Connecting Dots System records the events that, in hindsight, become a story — before they are forgotten and lost. Verifiable facts are kept as “Dots”; a person later weaves them into “Stories.” Because you can only connect the dots looking backwards (Steve Jobs), the facts are recorded individually and the meaning — how they connect — is added afterward. The same set of dots supports multiple parallel stories, by audience and purpose. Every Dot is published as sourced, machine-readable data (dots.json).
